Hi all,

Just a note to let you know that Aldi has a special (as from Thurs 16th
June) on Bath towels ($5 ea) and a pack of face cloths and hand towels ($5
ea).

Does anyone know of any other specials?

Also, we are currently short of Bandages, wads of Cotton Wool (NOT Cotton
Balls) and toothpaste.

Hi all,

Apologies for sending this out so soon after the last letter but I forgot something.

Things we do NOT need at this time (with thanks to those who have sent them in the past):
Loose leaf folders (esp the lever arch folders);
SMALL knitted wool jumpers (to suit tiny babies) — we prefer the larger ones at this point of time.

Also Margaret Crooks asked me to pass on to you that she got picnic sets for $6 at Marrickville K-Mart (they were $10 at Broadway, so it pays to shop around).

Hi all,

I thought that I might keep you up to date with a few MAG items.

1. The latest Newsletter is now out. Please look for it starting next week.

2. The next Container Packing Day is Thursday 5th May. Please ask around for possible helpers.

3. As far as items needed:
a) Thank you very much for all the exercise books and A4 paper. These are always needed.
b) Liz Burns has informed us that all school children must have shiny shoes every day.
So we are looking at the possibility of sending shoe cleaning kits including SHOE POLISH & BRUSH.
Have you seen any at a good price?
c) It has been found that felt pens (Textas etc) dry out en route. It is far better to send coloured pencils.
d) The Safari Kits need PONCHOS at this stage (thanks to St Matthias for the back packs!)
e) We have plenty of folders at this stage.

Thanks again for all your support, especially as liaison with your local Church. Your efforts are truly bearing fruit.

Rod James
MAG Chairperson
