Highlights from recent Parish Council Meeting

- Ministry to young children (through playgroup) is really booming as both playgroups are now full. There is a possibility of starting a “Mums and Bubs” group on Friday mornings next term. There is however, a great need for Christian mums (or dads) with small children, to come to the playgroups to build relationships with those from outside the church.
- We heard about the upcoming Marriage Course (see below)
- We were challenged to think about how we as a church are addressing the issues of world poverty and inequality. Some possible programs are being evaluated.
- A request has been made for regular “Prayer and Praise” nights, which will hopefully get off the ground soon.

- Finally, there are some major property issues coming up, which will inevitably cause a drain on our finances.
