For March quarter, total givings were $46,951, compared to budget of $48,500. This deficit of $1,549 was offset by slightly higher return on investments. Expenditure remains in line with forecasts. We praise God for such a great result in tough economic times.
Parish Council agreed to spend approximately $10,000 to fund partitioning and a new window for the Church requiring urgent attention. This sum forms part of the $15,000 set aside for eaquipment purchases and improvement projects. Council agreed not to spend any more of the $15,000 in the next few months but will review priority order for remaining projects in August/September.
Women’s Fellowship has kindly indicated it will fund a replacement oven for the downstairs kitchen.
Council also reminds parishioners that the SRE (tax deductible) Fund is able to accept donations – with those receipted prior to 30 June providing more immediate tax benefit.
