Dear St Peters Church Family,
Steve asked me to put my hand up in church a few weeks ago when he announced that I was now the contact person for co-ordinating meals under Pastoral Care. It is my pleasure to be able to serve you all in this way.
Kate Ballantyne and Philippa Mcloughlin have been doing a great job for several years and I know that many families have been on the receiving end of their delicious meals.
As individuals and families we have all known of people who are in need, through sickness, grief, or the arrival of precious new babies !
Please let me know either by email or by phone if you know of any family who needs to be ministered to in this practical and loving way- as we can tend not only to those with our church but also to reach out to others in the wider community.
To any of you who enjoy cooking or are looking for an opportunity to serve at St Peters please prayerfully consider if you are willing and able by to make and deliver a meal on occasion- the more people we have the easier it will be to share in this ministry.
