Well it is now only 6 weeks till the “Better Life” mission begins and things are really starting to get moving. Here are some of the events that are already under way in their planning:
- Sunday 29th Apr – Outreach services; meeting the Mission Team; touch football with the youth; and training sessions at Sn@p
- Monday 30th Apr – SUPA Club launch; Start of the “Coffee Hut” at School drop-off and pick up;
- Tues 1st May – Mission Students visit Scripture at LEPS
- Wed 2nd May – Playtime group; Seniors’ Expo + Luncheon at the Community Hall; Touch Football for youth; Dialogue Meeting for Bible Study Groups
- Thurs 3rd May – Communion at Lindfield Gardens; Jazz evening
- Fri 4th May – Vibe Outreach; Hype; Youth Event at St Albans
- Sat 5th May – Men’s Breakfast; Family Bush Dance
- Sun 6th May – Outreach Services; Touch Football for youth; Dinner after 7pm service
Please start filling in your green program sheet from your “show bag” so you can start praying for these events. Speaking of prayer, have you written down your three people for prayer on your prayer card &, more importantly, have you started to pray for three of your non-Christian friends or family?
There are still other plans to be made and the book is not closed on all the things that might happen during the mission week. Are you, for instance, interested in just organising a few friends to come over for dinner and discussion on the things that Christians believe?
