Into Pastures Green He Leads Me

Some words of encouragement from the Scriptures I think we can all relate to…

“Finish your outdoor work and get your fields ready; after that, build your house.” Prov 24:27

“Stone is heavy and sand a burden, but provocation by a fool is heavier than both.” Prov 27:3

“Who cuts a channel for the torrents of rain, and a path for the thunderstorm, to water a land where no man lives, a desert with no one in it, to satisfy a desolate wasteland and make it sprout with grass?” Job 38:27-27

“I will provide grass in the fields for your cattle, and you will eat and be satisfied.” Dt 11:15

“Let my teaching fall like rain and my words descend like dew, like showers on new grass, like abundant rain on tender plants.” Dt 32:2

“Make it your ambition to… work with your hands, just as we told you” 1 Thess 4:11

Well, it’s been a long road, but finally the grass is down (assuming everything went well yesterday!). I want to thank all the people who have helped with the renovation of the front lawn for the last year & a half. It’s been so exciting and encouraging to see so many of God’s people working together… what a great example of the body of Christ working together!

It’s actually been great practice for next year’s week of mission, where everyone will have the opportunity to get involved in one way or another.
