Dear Friends,
Last night was another great workshop. Susan L provided feedback on her six month contract appointment, which she started yesterday. Gordon Sparrow also joined us to provide feedback on how his new role is going and provided some wonderful support in the one-on-one workshop sessions.
Thank you to the following people who assisted with workshop: Donald, Jim, Neil, Peter and Gordon Sparrow.
The next workshop is scheduled for Monday 12 April. I will need at least 8 people to assist. Can you please advise of your availability?
If you haven’t been for awhile, then the next workshop will be the second to last opportunity to provide some much needed support. I advised the participants last week that the Retrenchment Support programme will conclude with the final workshop on Tuesday 27 April (Monday 26 April is ANZAC Day public holiday). The programme commenced in May last year. When we conclude at the end of April we will have run 24 workshop sessions, supported 42 participants with 32 leaders. It has been an absolute joy serving God in this way. Some of our leaders from St Peter’s will be involved in a Parenting Course being run by the Church from May.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the people who have assisted with the programme and a special thank you to our friends from the Catenians (St Ives and Pymble Catholic parishes), Jim and Atat in particular, who have provided wonderful assistance since August last year.
Cheers,
Bruce
