Anglicans Crowd Honours

Anglicans account for 42 of the 670 awards to be presented this Queen’s Birthday long weekend. Among them, there was one who are now a member of our Parish Council.
Mr John Charles CARRICK was awarded the MEDAL (OAM) OF THE ORDER OF AUSTRALIA, for his service to the community through Rotary International, particularly in the areas of health promotion, youth affairs and international relations.
John was
- Chair, Organising Committee, Rotary International World Convention, 2005.
- Member, Parish Council, St Peter’s Anglican Church, East Lindfield, 1982-1983 and 2000-2001. Deputy Chairman, Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal for the Sydney region, c1980s.
