Today we start a new series looking at Paul’s letter to the church in Philippi. Paul visited Philippi on his second missionary journey (see above), which took him for the first time into Greece.
Paul writes to a group of people he loves deeply and wants to encourage and strengthen as they face difficulties from without and within. In particular, today we see how this great love drives him to prayer.
Let me encourage you at some stage over the next couple of days to take a few minutes to read through the whole book (only 4 chapters), to get an overall picture of what Paul has to say.
